My Story
As far back as I can remember from when I was a little girl, and even til now, I’ve always loved beautiful things. I’m fairly certain that I inherited this from my Mother. She didn’t have a lot of money growing up but she always managed to look so amazingly gorgeous and spoilt me and my siblings on those special occasions. Some of my fondest memories are sitting around a fresh cut Christmas tree unwrapping gifts in a sea of wrapping paper.
Many years ago when I was a teenager I had a casual job working in a party shop. One day my boss told me that she had a free visitors pass to the gift fair. She said " you’ll love it"! I really didn’t know what to expect, but walking into the gift fair that day something affable came over me like a warm ray of sunshine. I fell in love instantly and knew that this is what I wanted to do. I was in the right place at the right time. I have worked in retail all my life and I just can’t seem to get away from gift giving…
Creating Hello Sunshine Gift Boxes is my way of sharing what I love with people. I just get so excited and inspired about all kinds of gifts and I love to give gifts as much as I love to receive them. There are so many different forms of self love and I wanted to find products that spoil women, which can easily turn into a gift for them selves or family & friends, even if it’s something as small as a hand cream. Taking time out to nurture yourself is one of the most important things you can do. Being a single mum you learn along the way that it’s OK to spoil yourself. I have found the most wondrous products to fill my gift boxes with. The beauty and candle products are made from natural and organic ingredients and support local Australian brands that will definitely bring that little bit of sunshine into your day!
